Magical

I should be packing, but it's actually almost done. Strange, but the fact that I'm going to Europe for six months is still rather surreal for me. With the Gilbert & Sullivan performances last weekend (which went well) and all the last minute scrambling I've hardly had a moment to think about anything for more than a few minutes.

Last night Gracie and I, who still think it's a novelty to have student ID cards, went to see Mary Poppins at the Orpheum theatre in Minneapolis. We were first in a line that stretched out for an entire block and got excellent seats for a fraction of what the people sitting next to us payed. It was a breathtaking show, one that I would go and see again just for the Step in Time number. Someday, I want to play Mary Poppins on the stage; the similarities between us are quite eerie.

Afterward we realized that we had subconsciously kept up a tradition, namely, that of seeing a broadway show before one of us leaves (we saw Phantom of the Opera before she left for North Carolina this summer).

how true

we got excellent seats for cheap =)

first in line for student rush tickets!
